As a pharmacist working in the local pharmacy, I've been thinking of providing useful information to foreigners living in South Korea. Due to differences in government regulations, some drugs which are OTC (over-the-counter) drugs in other countries are Rx (prescription) drugs in South Korea, and vice versa. The purpose of this <DIY pharmacy> blog is to give you the usefule information, when you have a certain mild medical problem which can be managed with OTC drugs in South Korea. You can buy various medicines without prescriptions in the pharmacy. Of course severe cases should be dealt with in the hospitals.
Before I decided to start this <DIY pharmacy> blog in English, I worried a lot, because I'm not a native English speaker. Some grammatic errors and awkward sentences might exist, but I hope these should not undermine the credibility of contents. I will only deal with the contents which has grounds to support and reference lists will be provided at the bottom of the article.
